
Join a great group of people and develop some new skills all the while making a difference in the lives of children!!! Tour de Broward/Walk, Run and Ride for Joe’s Kids offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities needed to help our event run smoothly. Positions ranging from Event Leadership to Day of Event Volunteers are available.

Volunteer Opportunities
- Registration Stations: Walk/Run/Cycle/Spinning: Assist with participant check-in and general event information and directions.
- Runner Chip & Bib distribution station: Assist with timing chip and race bib distribution.
- Advance Set-Up Committee: Saturday 2/13
- Post Event Breakdown Committee: Sunday 2/1
- Stage Coordination & Master of Ceremony – Coordinate entertainment and awards ceremony.
- Kid Zone – Help provide childcare in fenced playground, while participants walk, run and ride.
- Hydration Stations: Volunteers needed along routes to provide water, healthy snacks and lots of encouragement.
- Cheerleaders: Become the spirit of the event!! (Pom poms provided)
- Grounds Police – Help us keep our event area clean and free of obstacles.
- Donation Team – Enthusiastic help needed to secure donations of food, beverages and goody bag items.
- Medical: Volunteer nurses are needed to be on site along cycling route and running route to offer minor first aid and communicate with medical transport teams if necessary.
- Cycling Repair Station: assist with breakdowns and minor repairs
- Event Logistics: Help with general event planning including kick-off celebration, signage/banners… Marking routes, start and finish line set-up… all the minute details!
- General Information Booth – Provide directions and information to participants on event day.
- Parking Police – Help uniformed officers direct traffic and parking so participants can get to their required destination with ease.
- Team Procurement: Help make our event a great success! Identify and reach out to potential teams for event participation.
- SAG (Support &Gear vehicles): Experieneced cyclist to drive the cycling route and offer riders assistance with mechanical and medical problems.
- Route Marshals – Experienced cyclists who will accompany riders and encourage safe riding.
